Organization

The activities at SMTM are organized in Communications and Administration Department, Department for Design and Content, The Naval Museum, The Maritime Museum, Department of Vasa Museum and Vrak – Museum of Wrecks and The Railway Museum.

Six of the departments are divided into units.

• The Communications and Administration Department is divided into the Communications Unit, the Finance and Procurement Unit, the HR and Sustainability Unit, the IT Unit and the Real Estate and Security Unit.
• The Department for Design and Content is divided into the Exhibitions Unit, the Collections Unit Maritime Museum, the Collections Unit Naval Museum, the Collections Unit Transport History, the Collections Unit Vasa Museum and the Cultural Heritage Unit.
• The Naval Museum Department is divided into the Visitor Experience and Education Unit.
• The Maritime Museum Department is divided into the Visitor Experience and Education Unit.
• The Department of Vasa Museum and Vrak – Museum of Wrecks is divided into the Vrak – Museum of Wrecks, Visitor Experience Unit and Public Programmes and Learning Unit.
• The Railway Museum Department is divided into the Train Service Unit and the Visitor Experience and Education Unit.

Responsible for the Train Service Unit and the Visitor Experience and Education Unit.
