Organization

The activities at SMTM are organized in Communications and Administration Department, Department for Design and Content, The Naval Museum, The Maritime Museum, Department of Vasa Museum and Vrak – Museum of Wrecks and The Railway Museum.

Communications and Administration Department

The department consists of the Communications unit, the Finance and Procurement unit, the HR and Sustainability unit, the IT unit and the Real Estate and Security unit.

Department for Design and Content

The department consists of the units: Exhibitions unit, Collections unit, Naval Museum; Collections unit, Maritime Museum; Collections unit, Vasa Museum; Collections unit Transport History; and Cultural Heritage unit.

The Naval Museum

The department consists of the Museum Director and the Visitor Experience and Education Unit.

The Department of Vasa Museum and Vrak 

The department consists of the Museum Director and Vrak – Museum of Wrecks, the Visitor Experience Unit and the Public Programmes and Learning Unit. 

Museum Director: Jenny Lind

Museum Director for Vrak is Odd Johansen. 

The Railway Museum

The department consists of the Museum Director and the Visitor Experience and Education Unit and the Train Service Unit.
